May 22nd 2021 Our Provincial guidelines regarding Covid restrictions have loosened, please see the link below for details.
On Friday April 16th the Provincial Stay at Home order for all of Ontario was extended two more weeks for a total of 6 weeks. For more information noting heavier restrictions please see the public health unit link below.
On Wednesday April 7th 2021 The Provincial government initiated another Stay at Home order to be in effect until May 6th 2021 for all of Ontario. Please follow the link below for more details.
On Monday March 8th Peterborough moves into the RED ZONE following the largest COVID-19 outbreak to date in Peterborough. The outbreak was declared on February 20th at the Severn Court student residence. Dr. Salvaterra says “there is a real risk that the variants linked to the local outbreaks could spread further out into the community, and is urging everyone to continue doing their part according to public health measures and restrictions to help avoid us going into a lockdown”
February 16th 2021 = Effective this morning the Provincial “stay at home shutdown order” has ended. We have now moved back into the colour coded framework where Peterborough has entered the “yellow protect zone.” Now is the time for us all to once again familiarize ourselves with the requirements and restrictions of the yellow zone, and to adhere closely to those restrictions. February 8th 2021 = The Province has extended the Stay at Home Order in our area until February 16th 2021. Any updates to this order will be revisited at that time.
